The X16 (pictured with 4 x M16s) is the only unit currently available that can merge and distribute multiple optical MADI streams without a computer. Designed with both M16 integration and standalone operation in mind, the X16 can receive a total of four optical MADI input streams, either distribute or combine streams contiguously and redistribute them to 8 available outputs (four SC Optical connections and four Coaxial BNC connections).
